Below are images of our fields and round bales. These are 2004 images, first crop.
We have organic 1st crop 1200 lb. (machine-rated) mesh-wrapped (better preserved than string tied) round bales of grass/alfalfa mix with no rain for $50/bale. Heifers, beef animals and horses love it. We also have organic 1st Crop Marsh Hay (without rain) for $45/bale. Beef, horses and heifers have loved this hay as well
Bale size diameter is 4'11" to 5 ft. average with some bales averaging in the 5 ft. 4 inch range .
